Company wellness programs

From many studies we conclude that healthier employees lead to lower premiums numerous. If companies can help their workers improve their health without cutting benefits or shifting more premium costs to employees, where is the downside? After all, Fortune 1000 companies have been using wellness programs for years to combat the rising costs of healthcare. There are many moderate activities and these are called "lifestyle activities." Examples include walking to school or work, yard work such as raking or mowing, gardening, and housework such as mopping. But this category also includes moderate intensity bike rides, shooting baskets in the driveway, playing badminton in the backyard, as well as performing moderate intensity sports such as golf and bowling.

To encourage for positive lifestyle choices and lifelong learning we provide a wide range of opportunities. Our broad programs have many activities. It includes sports opportunities, personal and group fitness opportunities, as well as self-directed leisure pursuits. Our programs are geared to all ability levels. By participating in the programs we’re able to enhance students’ academic productivity, personal effectiveness, physical health and well being, and overall quality of life.

Specifically, we run five core programs: Club Sports, Intramurals, Outdoor Pursuits, Open Recreation, and a fitness/wellness program. From these programs students got different experience and allows for very competitive as well as unstructured activities. There’s truly something for everyone and every lifestyle.
