Corporate Wellness Programs

St. Luke's Health System will present the Siouxland Chapter of Society for Human Resource Management's monthly program from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in Room 1 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center.

Parking is available in the employee parking ramp on the corner of Douglas St. and Stone Park Blvd.St. Luke's Faye Tompkins and Erik Nieuwenhuis will be the featured speakers. Tompkins, manager of employee health, is a certified occupational health nurse and certified in worker's compensation who has been with St. Luke's for 24 years.

Nieuwenhuis, physical therapist specializing in WorkSmart ergonomics and MSD injury prevention, has been working in that field for more than 12 years.

Topics covered will include how to implement employer-driven programs integrated to minimize lost time, improve productivity, build morale and effectively manage disability costs.
